Bro... bro. the pickelhaube was discontinued in 1916, it was never used by the nazis nor in service during the nazi rule, it was last used in ww1, no one wore that thing in ww2 bro, i would recommend doing your research

Cultural artifacts have relevance beyond their direct historical lineage. This article is an introduction to how the pickelhaube is deployed as a neo-Nazi dogwhistle.

Thanks for checking it out!

And yet imperialism goes strictly against national socialist ideas?

Two entirely different things an anti sematic belief system that brainwashes children into being pawns of a much bigger game of evil and a imperialist regime that wanted to expand so its people could live better lives. DO SOME GOD DANM RESEARCH MAN!

also august von Mackenson was a German field marshal (if I recall correctly) that server in the Franco Prussian war ww1 and a portion of ww2 and was known for his hat having a skull insignia on it. he was also a staunch monarchist so no wonder why he was wearing a pickelhaube! he served most of his military carrier as a solider of the 2nd German empire and yes a little bit of the 3rd empire but he did not believe in Hitlers ideology! HE WAS A DAMN MONARCHIST!

It is used in Germany now for neo Nazis because of there """"beloved""" flag got banned so they are trying to get it banned do to there on going rivalry with the imperialists of Germany to get it banned along with much more things about imperial Germany. also you really screwed up by saying that the pickelhaube kid "knew what he was doing" when he wore that hat and flew that flag, the German empire and the Nazis are to completely different things for the Nazi's. like I said symbols of the German empire are being used against them by neo-Nazi's so they can be banned in Germany so they can one up their rival, the image of a German officer or general wearing it is a propaganda tool like it was the plan for Kaiser Wilhelm's body to be buried in berlin so the monarchists can finally realize that he was their. 0/10 do some da*m research and stop making a wonderful hat into something its not.
